Turkish giants Besiktas have confirmed their pursuit of Atletico Mineiro star Ronaldinho. Besiktas coach Slaven Bilic has revealed that his side is keen on landing the former-Barcelona star, who he believes could be a valuable addition to the squad.

  • The Turkish outfit have been linked with a move for the 33-year-old for long now and Bilic’s statement could be a precursor to an offer from Besiktas for the Brazilian.<br />

"I would love to have Ronaldinho in my squad”, said the coach.<br /> <br /> "He might be a little older now, but I think that he still has at least two good years in him. Even at his age, he would contribute a lot to Besiktas and could help us to the next level.<br /> <br /> "Let's not talk about it too much, though, at this stage."<br />

Ronaldinho made a switch to Mineiro from Flamengo in 2012 and helped them to Copa Libertadores glory in his debut season with the club.
