<strong>Major League Soccer club Seattle Sounders are being linked with a move for Tottenham forward Clint Dempsey this summer.</strong>

The 30 year old USA international has been rumored to be on his way back to MLS this summer with Seattle Sounders believed to be his likeliest destination.<br />

Dempsey joined Spurs last summer from Fulham on a three year contract and has been featuring regularly for Andre Villas Boas' side. He made 27 appearances last term scoring 7 goals in the process.<br />

However, with the signings of Paulinho,Nacer Chaldi and more recently Roberto Soldado, it is believed that Dempsey no longer features in the manager's plans for next season.<br />

"We're always interested in good players first off," Schmid told Sports Radio KJR.<br />

"Right now, there's really nothing to it, there's nothing to say. But we are in a position to add a Designated Player to our team before August 8th.
