Napoli manager Rafael Benitez has assured that Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain is set to make his debut against the Gunners in the Emirates Cup, having joined from Real Madrid as per Sky Sports.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Higuain joined the Serie A runners-up Napoli from the Los Blancos this summer as a replacement for Edinson Cavani , with the Gunners failing in all their attempts to lure the striker to the Emirates.

The former Real Madrid forward is now all set to feature against the North London club in Napoli's opening encounter of the Emirates Cup and their manager Benitez expressed his delight at having the striker at the club.

"I don't know how long [he will play] but I think that he has to play because he is training well, he is fine, but we'll have to manage it at the time," Rafa said.

"He's a great player and it was an easy decision for me [to sign him], I told the chairman that I liked the player, so the technical director and the chairman, they were quick and after we signed the player [I was] really pleased because he is a top class player."
