Queens Park Rangers' manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that the Championship club are interested in acquiring the services of Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi on a season-long loan deal.

Reports emerged last week linking the recently relegated Premier League outfit with a move for the Moroccan International. Liverpool are said to be open to parting with the 24-year-old on a temporary basis.<br />

"I am interested in trying to loan Assaidi from Liverpool, but I'm not quite sure where we're at with that one at the moment," Redknapp was quoted saying to BBC Sport..<br />

Assaidi has made just 12 appearances for the Merseyside outfit since his arrival from Eredivisie outfit Heerenveen last summer.
