Newcastle's Adam Campbell completes loan move to Carlisle United

15 August 2013 - 14:19

Newcastle United's young forward Adam Campbell has agreed to join League one outfit Carlisle United on loan for a month.

  • Arsenal make surprise decision on Viktor Gyokeres
  • Arsenal to battle Napoli to sign Alexsandro Ribeiro?

  • Carlisle manager Greg Abbott was pleased to have acquired the player's signature and also assured that the talented youth star would get plenty of first team opportunities with the Blues.

Abbott told the club's official website. : "Adam is a good young player who has been right on the fringes of the Newcastle United first team.

"I spoke with Alan Pardew about him and he thinks a heck of a lot of him. He's at a stage of the season where he wants Adam to get more football and he knows that we look after players like this.

"Hopefully this is one of those that will work out for all parties because there is no doubt that we are getting a good player who has a bright future ahead of him."
