Tottenham accepts QPRs Parker bid

Tottenham accepts QPR's Parker bid

16 August 2013 - 10:35

Tottenham Hotspurs have accepted a bid from Queens Park Rangers for England international Scott Parker but the player is yet to agree personal terms with the Championship side.

 • Chelsea star to miss FA Cup final with hamstring injury
 • Chelsea to move for Bendegúz Kovács?
 • Harry Redknapp has been keen on reuniting with the defensive midfielder at Loftus Road and is hopeful of convinving Parker into making the move away from White Hart Lane this summer.
Parker faces stiff competition at Spurs after new recruits Paulinho and Etienne Capoue are believed to be higher up in the pecking order for manager Andre Villas Boas.
However, the 32 year old is not keen on leaving the Premier League and would prefer a move to Craven Cottage with Fulham still firmly interested in his services.
Rangers boss Redknapp said: "It's down to Scott now. The chairman has agreed a deal with Tottenham. It's up to Scotty now.
"Hopefully Scotty will feel the same and come here. We feel this is a club progressing and we'd love him to be part of it here."
