Darren Bent wraps up Fulham transfer

Darren Bent has completed a transfer move to Fulham this afternoon, agreeing a loan deal that gives the Cottagers an option to make a permanent transfer for the Aston Villa forward next year.

The 29-year-old has attracted interest from many Premier League sides, but the offer from Fulham appears to have won the day for the England international striker. Bent is reportedly desperate for first team football as he is hopeful of a recall to the England international team for next year's World Cup.<br />

Fulham will pay Bent's full salary for the duration of the loan deal.
