Real Madrid leave number 11 shirt vacant

18 August 2013 - 08:13

Real Madrid have dropped a massive hint that they will be signing Tottenham winger Gareth Bale this summer, having published their squad number list and leaving Bale's preferred number 11 vacant.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Gareth Bale is reportedly giving his Tottenham upper management team the silent treatment at training and is desperate to make a move to Spain; however Spurs' chairman Daniel Levy has set Bale's pricetag at a whopping 100 million Euros.

Last year Real Madrid had given Ricardo Carvalho the #11 shirt, but the defender has since moved on to Monaco.

Bale is furious that a transfer has yet to have been wrapped up and his agent will again push for a transfer this coming week, demanding that Tottenham conclude a deal with the Spanish giants.
