Real boss Ancelotti happy with squad amidst Bale rumors

Real boss Ancelotti happy with squad amidst Bale rumors

18 August 2013 - 09:01

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he is happy with the squad he has as they continue to be linked with a summer move for Tottenham winger Gareth Bale.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town
  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal

  • With less than a fortnight remaining before the transfer window draws to a close, the newly appointed Real Madrid manager has expressed satisfaction with the squad he has currently.

As the Los Blancos continue to be linked with 24 year old Welshman Gareth Bale, Ancelotti's remarks come as a major surprise after they dropped a hint of signing the midfielder by leaving the jersey number 11 unallotted.

"I'm very happy with the squad. We don't need any more players," said the experienced coach.

"The important thing is to create a style of play that is comfortable for my players.

"Our objective is not only to win but to also play beautiful, attacking football."

Tottenham have managed to hold on to their prized asset till now but await an anxious last ten days before the window closes later this month.
