Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye has sat down with his agent and has requested a transfer away from the club. Arsenal have made an offer for the Frenchman and are expected to continue their pursuit until the end of the transfer window.
The Newcastle man is expected to play no part in the Toon Army's game against West Ham this weekend, with Alan Pardew electing to keep the player out of the time until Cabaye's future has been resolved. <br />
Paris St Germain are long term admirers of the player but have yet to make a formal offer. It is understood that Cabaye wants to stay in England though, and would prefer a move to London.
