Roma midfielder Erik Lamela is not on the verge of a move to Tottenham, despite reports that the Argentinian midfielder will be flying to London to complete a deal this week.
The player's representative, Pablo Sabbag, has already told reporters that talk of an imminent move to Tottenham is wide of the mark.
"I’m not in London and what is being said is not the truth," said the agent. "I’m in Italy along with Erik’s father. Lamela’s relaxed about it all. We’re just waiting for developments. Let’s see what happens."
