Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino has made Pablo Piatti as one of his major transfer targets before the conclusion of the summer transfer window, as per The People.
Reports coming out of France suggest that Ligue 1 outfit Rennes have reportedly made a bid for the talented Argentine winger, which has been accepted by his current club Valencia.
According to the People, the 24-year-old is keen on a switch to the Premier League, which has made the Saints manager eager to make an offer for the player.Â
The report also added that the Saints would have a make a bid in the region of £2m to acquire the player's services.
