Newcastle United have placed Watford's Troy Deeney as their number one transfer target for the summer transfer window.
The Magpies Alan Pardew expressed of his desire to bolster his attack force before the end of the transfer window, inspite of acquiring the services of Loic Remy from Queens Park Rangers on a season-long loan deal. <br /><br />Having failed in his pursuit of signing a number of top players this summer, Pardew has set his sights on acquiring the signature of the highly-rated 25-year-old from Vicarage Road, according to The People.<br /><br />Though the Hornets would be unwilling to let go of their talented frontman, it is believed that they would consider his departure if a huge offer is made.
