Everton appear to have won the race to sign Juventus midfielder Luca Marrone on loan until the end of the season. The young Italian has been told he can join the Premier League side for the season for more first team experience.
Benfica were amongst the teams linked with Marrone but it appears Everton have won the race after the Italian midfielder, 23, chose a move to Goodison Park.<br />
Marrone has been linked with a move to Everton to replace Phil Neville, who quit the Toffees last season. Marrone normally plays as a defensive midfielder but is also comfortable playing in defence.
