Italian starlet Lorenzo Insigne has put pen to paper on a new contract with Napoli. The Serie A side and player have agreed to a one year extension to his existing contract.
"I met Insigne and we signed a new five-year contract," club chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis announced on Twitter. "I wish 'Lorenzinho' to have a great career with Napoli."
The 22-year-old had been a target for Sunderland earlier in the transfer window, but Napoli fans will be delighted that they have secured the long term future of the player.
