Italian international goalkeeper Marco Amelia is wanted by Man City. Livorno's goalkeeper is expected to command a fee of around 5m EUR as Man City are continuing to reshuffle their group.

Amelia is rated as one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe and a move to England may favour the player who wishes to develop his career to help his push to become the Italian number 1 ahead of Gianluigi Buffon.
