The Gunners have reportedly made a formal transfer offer for Real Madrid's winger Angel Di Maria, according to Goal.com
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is yet to make a genuine top class signing this summer, in spite of reports suggesting that the North London outfit have a transfer kitty worth £70m to spend, during the current transfer window.<br /><br />It is understood that the Emirates side have made a bid in the region of £25.6m for Argentine International Angel Di Maria, for which Real Madrid are yet to respond as their main focus lies on the signing of Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspur.<br />
However, Di Maria has stated of his desire to stay at the Bernabeu and honour his contract which expires in 2018.
