Premier League high spenders Chelsea are set to sign Anzhi Makhachkala striker Samuel Eto'o according to Sky Sports.
The former Barcelona and Inter Milan forward has been transfer listed by Anzhi owner Suleiman Kerimov along with a host of other big earners at the club. The 32 year old has been looking for a new club and seems set to reunite with Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge.
The Cameroon international is believed to be discussing personal terms with the Blues and is expected to be unveiled by tomorrow evening.
Inter Milan were also interested in the veteran striker but Eto'o is eager to once again team up with Jose Mourinho having won the Champions League with him in 2010. Chelsea have been in constant chase of Wayne Rooney this summer but have finally given up and shifted their attention to more experienced African striker to solve their goalscoring woes.
