Liverpool defender Agger happy with Barca link

Liverpool defender Daniel Agger is delighted to have been linked with a move to Barcelona, but has told reporters that for the time being he is happy to stay at Anfield. The Danish defender has been linked with a move to Barca as a replacement for Carles Puyol.

“In general, you have to think of it as a positive thing,” Agger said. “Regardless of what is being said or written, it’s a positive thing when someone thinks you do your job well. When a club like Barcelona thinks that, it’s even better, and it’s made me happy. I won’t deny that, but [the deal] is a long way from being a reality unless something happens.”
