02 September 2013 - 12:03

Arsenal have agreed a fee with Real Madrid for Germany international Mesut Ozil. The midfielder will complete a move to the Gunners this evening, signing a five year contract at the Emirates. Arsenal have agreed a fee of around £37.5 million for the 24-year-old.

  • There had been reports of a late Man Utd and PSG offer to Real Madrid for Ozil, but it appears Arsenal are the only candidates for the German star and the player will have a medical in his home country where he is currently on international duty.<br />

Ozil will become the third German international currently at the Emirates, joining up with international teammates Luks Podolski and Per Mertesacker.
