02 September 2013 - 12:03

Arsenal have agreed a fee with Real Madrid for Germany international Mesut Ozil. The midfielder will complete a move to the Gunners this evening, signing a five year contract at the Emirates. Arsenal have agreed a fee of around £37.5 million for the 24-year-old.

  • There had been reports of a late Man Utd and PSG offer to Real Madrid for Ozil, but it appears Arsenal are the only candidates for the German star and the player will have a medical in his home country where he is currently on international duty.

Ozil will become the third German international currently at the Emirates, joining up with international teammates Luks Podolski and Per Mertesacker.
