Abel Hernandez heading to Genoa

Uruguayan international forward Abel Hernandez will tonight complete a transfer from Serie B side Palermo to top flight team Genoa. A deal worth 5 million Euros has been agreed for the player.

  • The 23-year-old, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal in recent days, has told his current club Palermo that he needs to play in the top flight of Italy to ensure he plays for his country again.



    Hernandez is one of Uruguay's most highly rated talents and the player will be delighted to officially wrap up a transfer to Genoa.
