Roma forward Francesco Totti will sign a one year extension to his current contract. The 36-year-old has been with Roma for 23 years and played over 500 times for the club.
The veteran will sit down with club representatives this week and discuss terms on a one year extension to his current deal.
Totti, who is arguably Roma's greatest ever player, has told club management that he still feels able to compete at the very highest level for another year. Totti had been linked with a move abroad, much like his former international team mate Alessandro Del Piero. However, Totti is hoping to stay with Roma and extend his current deal into 2015.
