Iniesta to sign new Barcelona contract

Barcelona's talisman midfielder Andres Iniesta will sign a brand new contract at the Nou Camp. The 29-year-old will extend his current deal by a further two years and the deal is set to make the playmaker the highest earning player on the roster.

The club's president Sandro Rosell has been locked in talks with Iniesta and his representatives over a new deal and it appears that the club are very close to agreeing terms.<br />

"Iniesta is a key player for us," said Rosell.<br />

"It is likely that the next great news for Barcelona will be the renewal of Iniesta's contract."
