Arsenal scouting Inter Milan youngster Patrick Olsen

14 September 2013 - 08:05

Reports from Italy suggest that Arsenal's manager Arsene Wenger will make a bid for Danish international midfielder Patrick Olsen. The 19-year-old is very highly rated at the San Siro but financial issues could force them to sell one of their best young players.

  • Chelsea set to sign Crystal Palace star for £47m
  • Man Utd aiming to beat Liverpool to 25yo midfielder
  • Olsen joined Inter Milan in 2012 from Brondby and has yet to force his way into Inter Milan's first team. The Denmark under-21 international has reportedly told his agent to explore the possibility of a potential loan move away from the Italian side for more first team experience. However, Inter have so far rejected the possibility of a transfer away for Olsen but with financial issues continuing to burden the Italian giants, the sale of 19-year-old could be sanctioned in January.

Arsenal scouts have prepared a dossier for manager Arsene Wenger and it is understood that they are all in complete agreement that Olsen will be an excellent addition to the Gunners' squad.

Inter Milan will sell Olsen for a fee of around 10.5 million Euros.
