Manchester City midfielder David Silva is set to miss Sunday's all awaited Manchester Derby due to a thigh injury.

The Spanish midfielder picked up the injury while on International duty, and this forced him to join the Citizens early in order to receive treatment. <br /><br />David Silva who has been out of the match-day squad for the club against Stoke City and Viktoria Plzen, was expected to be fit to face Manchester United on Sunday according to manager Manuel Pellegrini.



However, the former Valencia midfielder looks set to spend another match on the sidelines as Manchester City look to earn a win overtheir arch rivals at the Etihad on Sunday.
