West Brom boss reveals high interest in Dawson and Berahino

20 September 2013 - 16:23

West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke has revealed that there has been high interest in young duo Craig Dawson and Saido Berahino but he is not letting go of anyone.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • There has been intense interest among Championship clubs to loan the youngsters this summer but Clarke is adamant to keep them at the Hawthorns. He is keen to hand them some first team action at West Brom but has decided to leave options open in the future.

"Everybody in the Championship would take Craig Dawson and Saido Berahino," Clarke told the Express and Star.

"But they're not going out because I like them and they're in my plans. For the foreseeable future they're not going out.

"That can change but, at the moment, there are no plans to let either out.

"We have been inundated with calls for both of them."
