Kenwyne Jones slams former Stoke boss Pulis

Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones has sensationally revealed that he and many of his club team mates would have looked to leave the club this summer had Tony Pulis not been removed from his job.

  • Stoke decided that it was time for a change this summer and parted company with Pulis after 7 years at the helm.

Kenwyne Jones has now revealed that he would have quit the club had Pulis stayed put.

"The atmosphere at the club, and the entire squad could testify to it, wasn't good. The things that we were doing, and the way that we were playing football, it was not encouraging for a lot of us," said Jones.

"You would probably not have seen a lot of the players at the club if the situation had remained the same, but things can change sometimes pretty quickly in football. You just have to sometimes weather the storm."
