David Moyes ready to make Man Utd transfer moves

25 September 2013 - 06:48

When asked by reporters whether or not Manchester United would be busy in the January transfer window, manager David Moyes confirmed that the Red Devils would be active and looking for some big signings.

  • Bournemouth close to signing Chelsea defender?
  • Marseille table bid for Chelsea defender

  • Man Utd fans were disappointed that David Moyes only managed to bring Marouane Fellaini to the club during the summer transfer window having missed out on the likes of Leighton Baines and several other reported targets.

However, Moyes is ready to make moves for other players if the opportunity presents itself.

"Maybe where we’ve got work to do is to bring players in, not for the squad, but to go right into the team. But that will happen," said Moyes. "Going back to that transfer window, we always said it was going to be a tough one and it was going to take a bit more time. So yes, it does mean I may have to take a few more blows.

"I knew this was going to be the case because I was taking over from a great manager and it was always going to take time for me to change things."
