Premier League clubs Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly preparing to make a move for AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli, according to the Daily Mail.
The talented Italian forward made a switch back to his homeland from Premier League outfit Manchester City during the winter transfer window last season.
However, the former Manchester City striker has been involved in several bust-ups as well as being a regular victim of racism discrimination from opposition fans since his arrival to AC Milan.
The Daily Mail reports that the controversial striker would be available for a transfer fee in the region of £12m, and the Gunners and the Reds are set to fight it out for the player's services when the winter transfer window opens up in January.Â
