Agent: 'Several clubs interested in Januzaj'

02 October 2013 - 04:02

Januzaj's agent Dirk De Vriese has provided information on his client's status, having confirmed that several clubs are interested in the player's signature.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts
  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players

  • Earlier, Manchester City and Juventus were believed to be keen on the player's signature but the speculation soon came to an end as the young creative midfielder was given starts for Manchester United from the bench by manager David Moyes.

Dirk De Vriese told the Belgian media : "I'm not going to say which teams are interested in him, but I can tell you that there is interest from several European clubs.

"The departure of Sir Alex Ferguson caused a break in the negotiations. But we are back working on the talks. I have already from Adnan's family an agreement to communicate.

"There have already been many emails and faxes sent from the (national) associations to inquire about his future. In Albania there are even entire television shows organised to convince him to choose the Albaian national team, but he remains very calm about it himself."
