Newcastle United are reportedly monitoring the progress of Manchester City midfielder Abdisalam Ibrahim, according to The Daily Express.
The talented midfielder who is currently plying his trade for Norwegian outfit Stromsgodset on loan, has attracted interest from a number of top European sides, following his excellent performances for his club and Norway's youth side.<br />
The 22 year old is currently not regarded as a first team player by manager Manuel Pellegrini, and with Newcastle United showing interest on the player, it will be interesting to see where the Norwegian youngster will be come January.
