Serie A club AS Roma will reportedly make a move for Manchester City defender Micah Richards when the transfer window re-opens in January.
The England International has failed to earn the trust of manager Manuel Pellegrini this season, having made just two appearances for the club in all competitions till now.
The form of Pablo Zabaleta at right-back has dented Richard's chances of securing a regular first-team spot at the Etihad Stadium as he looks to recover full fitness.
With Roma making an excellent start to their Serie A campaign, Richards is considered as the main target to replace Nicolas Burdisso who looks set to leave Stadio Olympico during the winter transfer window.
