Tottenham plan bid for Ezequiel Lavezzi

17 October 2013 - 08:10

Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas will spend the remainder of his Gareth Bale transfer money on PSG forward Ezequiel Lavezzi. The Argentine international wants to leave the French champions.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • Lavezzi has slipped down the pecking order this season at Paris St Germain since Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani have struck up a solid partnership on the French sides frontline, leaving the Argentine mulling over his options.
Tottenham and Liverpool have both been strongly linked with a move for the 28-year-old, but it appears Spurs are the clear favourites to sign the former Napoli star.
Spurs are ready to spend a reported £15m to sign the forward.
