Barcelona set to make £45m bid for Sergio Aguero

Barcelona are seeking a possibility of signing Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero during the January transfer window, according to reports from Spain.

Spanish TV show Punto Pelota claims that Barcelona manager Gerardo Martino is keen on acquiring the services of the talented Argentine forward and a bid in the region of £45m could be sufficient to lure the player from the Etihad.



Aguero has been in brilliant form for Manchester City since his £38m switch from La Liga giants Atletico Madrid in 2011.<br /><br />The Catalonian giants consider the player as a top target for the winter transfer window, as he has prior experience of playing in the La Liga with Atletico Madrid.<br />
