Chelsea are eyeing a move for highly-rated French prospect Eliaquim Mangala during the January transfer window, according to The Express.
The report suggests that the Blues potentially consider the Porto centre-back as a replacement for John Terry in the future and a huge transfer offer in the region of £33.8m would be required in order to acquire the player's services.
Having recently changed agents, Mangala is represented by Jorge Mendes, who also has close contact with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, and this could be the key factor to tempt him in making the switch to the West London outfit during the January transfer window.
