West Ham United monitoring Alfred Finnbogason

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce are reportedly eyeing a move for Heerenveen striker Alfred Finnbogason, according to The Mirror.

  • The 24-year-old Icelandic international was in top form with the Eredivisie club last season having scored 24 goals in 23 games since his switch from Belgian outfit Lokeren.<br /><br />The striker who has maintained his form this season with 11 goals in eight, has caught the attentions of several Premier League clubs.<br /><br />According to The Mirror, the Hammers are the latest club to be associated with a move for the striker, with manager Sam Allardyce keen to have a genuine goal scorer upfront, following the injury to Andy Caroll.
