West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce are reportedly eyeing a move for Heerenveen striker Alfred Finnbogason, according to The Mirror.

  • The 24-year-old Icelandic international was in top form with the Eredivisie club last season having scored 24 goals in 23 games since his switch from Belgian outfit Lokeren.

The striker who has maintained his form this season with 11 goals in eight, has caught the attentions of several Premier League clubs.

According to The Mirror, the Hammers are the latest club to be associated with a move for the striker, with manager Sam Allardyce keen to have a genuine goal scorer upfront, following the injury to Andy Caroll.
