Hull City Tigers goalkeeper Allan McGregor is set to face up to six weeks in the sidelines with a thigh injury.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • The Tigers boss Steve Bruce has shown his regret over the club's number one's injury in last weekend's defeat to Everton, saying that he will be a "big miss" for the club.

"We've just found out this morning that Allan is going to be out for five or six weeks," Steve Bruce said.

"As I've said repeatedly, injuries are the one area where we needed to stay fit and healthy and this one couldn't have come at a worse time. Allan will be a big miss for us because he has played very, very well and we wish him a speedy recovery."

Hull have had a fantastic start to their Premier League campaign, and are currently placed in ninth place.
