  • Following Victor Valdes' stance on leaving the Camp Nou at the end of the current campaign, Barcelona were on the search for a new number one to replace the Spaniard at the club.

A number of goalkeepers were associated with a move to the La Liga champions, but according to German sports newspaper Bild, a decision has been finalised to sign Ter Stegen.

The 21-year-old who will cost in the region of £8m, is expected to sign a four year deal with the Catalan outfit.
