Newcastle manager Alan Pardew is planning a January transfer window move for Bosnia and Herzegovina international midfielder Senad Lulic. The Lazio player has been told he is free to leave the club for 5.5 million Euros.
The player joined Lazio from Swiss side Young Boys in 2011 and has since forced his way into the Italian side's first team. The cash strapped Serie A side are ready to sell the 27-year-old versatile player for a reduced fee amidst interest from the Toon Army.
Lulic, who is comfortable playing at left back or in left midfield, has attracted the interest of several Premier League sides in the past but Newcastle are in pole position to secure his signature when the transfer window reopens.
