Michu likely to miss out a few games through injury

04 November 2013 - 05:33

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has confirmed that the club's star forward Michu could miss a few games through injury, after the Spanish sensation was taken off during the club's 1-0 loss to rivals Cardiff City on Sunday.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Michu was taken off by the Swans manager having twisted his ankle once more, and Laudrup suggested that the player had been struggling with his physical condition of late.

Cardiff City won the first Welsh derby between the two sides in the Premier League as Steven Caulker scored the only goal of the game in the second half.

"Michu is not 100 per cent right now," Laudrup said. "He is struggling with some physical problems and, on top of that, he had to leave pitch with another twisted ankle so probably he will be out for a couple of games."

Swansea are currently 13th in the League table.
