Ipswich Town keen on signing Tottenham's Harry Kane on loan

Championship outfit Ipswich Town are reportedly keen on acquiring the services of Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane on a temporary loan deal.

  • The England Under-21 international, who is currently with Tottenham Hotspur, is considered as a back-up to the likes of  Roberto Soldado, Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor.


    Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas is reportedly open to the prospect of allowing Kane to leave the North London club on a loan deal, and this has alerted Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy who is keen on strengthening his attacking options.


    Kane has had loan spells with Leyton Orient, Millwall and Norwich City in recent seasons.
