Ipswich Town keen on signing Tottenham's Harry Kane on loan

Championship outfit Ipswich Town are reportedly keen on acquiring the services of Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane on a temporary loan deal.

  • The England Under-21 international, who is currently with Tottenham Hotspur, is considered as a back-up to the likes of  Roberto Soldado, Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor.<br />

    Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas is reportedly open to the prospect of allowing Kane to leave the North London club on a loan deal, and this has alerted Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy who is keen on strengthening his attacking options.<br />

    Kane has had loan spells with Leyton Orient, Millwall and Norwich City in recent seasons.
