Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Spanish striker Fernando Llorente from Serie A giants Juventus on a temporary basis during the winter transfer window.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen on strengthening the club's strike force in the January window with a loan deal for Juventus striker Fernando Llorente in an effort to maintain their Premier League title lead for the remainder of the season.

Having seen Giroud hold all the burden at the front, Wenger is keen on signing a new centre forward to complement the Frenchman, and reports suggest that Gunners have already begun talks with the Italian league champions Juventus over a loan for Llorente, whose opportunities at the Turin outfit have been limited due to the likes of Carlos Tevez, Fabio Quagliarella and Mirko Vucinic.
