Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Spanish striker Fernando Llorente from Serie A giants Juventus on a temporary basis during the winter transfer window.
The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen on strengthening the club's strike force in the January window with a loan deal for Juventus striker Fernando Llorente in an effort to maintain their Premier League title lead for the remainder of the season.<br /><br />Having seen Giroud hold all the burden at the front, Wenger is keen on signing a new centre forward to complement the Frenchman, and reports suggest that Gunners have already begun talks with the Italian league champions Juventus over a loan for Llorente, whose opportunities at the Turin outfit have been limited due to the likes of Carlos Tevez, Fabio Quagliarella and Mirko Vucinic.
