Galatasaray plot surprise bid for John Terry

Turkish giants Galatasaray are plotting a surprise bid for Chelsea captain John Terry, during the January transfer window.

Manager Roberto Mancini had placed the veteran defender as one of his major transfer targets, and the Daily Mail reports that the Italian will make a January swoop for the player.<br />

The Turkish club will be hoping to lure the centre back to the club,with the prospect of playing alongside former Chelsea teammate Didier Drogba.<br />

John Terry's contract with Chelsea is set to expire at the end of the season.<br />
