Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly considered favourites to land the signing of Uruguayan International Gaston Ramirez from Southampton, during the winter transfer window.
The talented midfielder joined the Saints from Italian outfit Bologna last summer, and had a good spell at the South Coast, having scored five times in 26 Premier League appearances.<br /><br />However, the 22-year-old has failed to cement his place in the starting line-up this season, with manager Mauricio Pochettino doubting the player's ability, and this has restricted the former Bologna man to just five league appearances.<br /><br />According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter Milan are keen on acquiring the services of Ramirez, as the club are keen on strengthening their midfield department in January, following the sufficient transfer budget provided by their new Indonesian owners.
