West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke has revealed that he expects the club's Burundian-born England youngster Saido Berahino to sign a new deal within the next 24 hours.
The 20-year-old has been recently linked with a move to London giants Arsenal and Chelsea following his excellent start to the season, which has seen him notch up 12 goals for the club and England Under 21 side.<br />
However, Clarke believes that Berahino will snub the interest in his services from elsewhere to commit his future to the Midlands outfit.<br />
"I'm confident Saido Berahino will sign a new contract within the next 24 hours," Clarke said in a press conference."<br />
Berahino is expected to earn a significant increase on his current wage of £850 per week.
