Saido Berahino to sign new deal with West Brom within 24 hours
West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke has revealed that he expects the club's Burundian-born England youngster Saido Berahino to sign a new deal within the next 24 hours.
The 20-year-old has been recently linked with a move to London giants Arsenal and Chelsea following his excellent start to the season, which has seen him notch up 12 goals for the club and England Under 21 side.
However, Clarke believes that Berahino will snub the interest in his services from elsewhere to commit his future to the Midlands outfit.
"I'm confident Saido Berahino will sign a new contract within the next 24 hours," Clarke said in a press conference."
Berahino is expected to earn a significant increase on his current wage of £850 per week.
