Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has denied claims of having contact with Jackson Martinez's agent by saying that he has no intention of making a transfer bid for the Porto striker during the winter transfer window.
The Colombian forward has been linked with a switch to the Blues over the past year, and this speculation reached great heights following Fernando Torres' injury.<br />
However, Mourinho has denied any interest in making a swoop for the profilic striker during the New Year. "No, it's not true," He said. "What I read a couple of days ago, about his agent meeting with me in London, is not true. We will not buy any strikers."<br />
Mourinho has also rebuffed links with Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao, insisting that the club are in no need of a new left-back.
