Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has denied claims of having contact with Jackson Martinez's agent by saying that he has no intention of making a transfer bid for the Porto striker during the winter transfer window.
The Colombian forward has been linked with a switch to the Blues over the past year, and this speculation reached great heights following Fernando Torres' injury.
However, Mourinho has denied any interest in making a swoop for the profilic striker during the New Year. "No, it's not true," He said. "What I read a couple of days ago, about his agent meeting with me in London, is not true. We will not buy any strikers."
Mourinho has also rebuffed links with Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao, insisting that the club are in no need of a new left-back.
