Crystal Palace will spend big in January transfer window

Crystal Palace will spend big in January transfer window

04 December 2013 - 14:39

Crystal Palace's newly appointed manager Tony Pulis has been given the green light to pursue his January transfer shortlist. The club's new sporting director Iain Moody has confirmed that talks have already started regarding the club's plans.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town
  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal

  • Iain Moody has sat down with Tony Pulis to discuss a list of targets and it is understood that a new striker, as well as a top class centre back remain the Eagles' top priority.

Moody quipped: "Of course, it's become one of the most talked about moments of the season, the dawning of January around the corner. Clubs in positions like us obviously are obliged to try and look at ways we can tweak and improve the squad.

"Tony and I already had a number of meetings about ways in which we think that is possible."
