Tottenham scouting Bosnian winger Izet Hajrovic

04 December 2013 - 14:55

Tottenham have sent one of their top scouts to watch the progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina international Izet Hajrovic, who currently plays in the Swiss top flight for Grasshoppers Zurich. The player has recently forced his way into his home country's national team.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Hajrovic will be on the plane to Brazil for Bosnia's World Cup campaign as the attacking midfielder has only just been given the opportunity to switch his international representation from Switzerland. The 22-year-old has been hugely impressive for Grasshoppers and Tottenham have taken notice.<br />

With a long term injury to Christian Eriksen, Spurs are ready to sign at least one new player in the January window and Hajrovic could well be the player Andre Villas-Boas looks to sign. The price that has been quoted for the signing of Hajrovic is £7.23 million, according to reports from Switzerland.
